What is ghost?

As defined in the Oxford Dictionary, ghost is the spirit of a dead person appearing to be still living.

Is there such thing as ghost?

Many people will not believe there are ghost. Only few people will believe there are ghost.  And very few people know there are ghost.

Why is it that many people will not believe there are ghost?

It is because as a normal human being our normal 5 senses are not able to perceive ghost.  We do not possess the sense faculty to perceive ghost.  Furthermore in this modern age we are talking about evidence or proof that can be perceived by our 5 senses and the mind to believe.  Since our 5 senses and the mind of a normal human being are not able to perceive ghost therefore most of us do not believed there is such thing as ghost. Interestingly though they may not believe there are ghost but some still fear ghost.

Why only few people believed there are ghost?

Some religions do preach of ghost. Some maybe out of fear will believe there are ghost. And some may be from reading and hearsay.

Why only very few people know there are ghost?

When I say know, it literally mean they can perceive ghost. Some people have attained a certain level in their cultivation to have a third eye to perceive things that cannot be perceived by our normal human being senses.

And some are just able to perceive ghost from their sight. They call this sight as “ying & yang” sight. 

Now coming to the question, is there such thing as ghost?

The answer is “YES”, there are ghost. Just look at the picture below you will notice at the left top side, you will notice there is an image of a face in the cloud.  There are actually images of a couple there.  This photo is authentic without any camera trick, editing of computer tampering.

How was this image captured?

It so happened one of my friend who while waiting for his friend was playing with his   I-pad saw something strange so he just use his I-pad to snap the image. This photo was taken in Pusing, Perak at about 2.30 am in the morning sometime in August 2012.

After taken this photo, he was sick for 2 weeks.

What is my purpose of writing this article?

I know many people will only believe if there is solid evidence. Even with solid evidence some may still doubt it as in this modern computer era everything can be tampered with.

My main purpose of writing this article is to share to those who do not believe in ghost because they are not able to perceive ghost that there are actually ghost.  And why after these people die they become ghost. By understanding the cause hopefully they will change and become a better person.

Before I write further, I wish to remind all readers to believe or not to believe is the reader choice.

I am actually a Buddhist. In the Buddhist teaching, the Buddha had spoken of the 6 different realms.  They are the Heavenly, Asuras, Human, Animal, Ghost and the Hell realms. The most blissful realm is the Heavenly and the most suffering realm is the Hell realm.

We are actually mingling around the 6 realms since beginning of time depending of our actions done by us. In Buddhism this is call Karma.

The 3 better realms are The Heavenly Realm, The Asuras Realm & The Human Realm.

The 3 lower realms are The Animals Realm, The Ghosts Realm & The Hell Realm.

Since we are in the better realm, the question is how do we maintain to be in this realm or how can we progress to move into the better realm like the heavenly.

If we want to maintain to be in the human realm, we have to do what human being does that their thinking and actions will results in peace and harmony.  If we want to progress to the better realm then we have to do more good things, like caring more for others than self. Maybe like doing more donations, sacrificing for others and etc.

If we do not want to retrogress to the lower realm than avoid doing wrong things or actions then we will not retrogress to the lower realms like the Animal, Ghost or Hell realms.

What are the inappropriate actions that can cause us to retrogress to the lower realm?

Of late if you were to read in the News Paper, you will notice that there are a lot of wrong doings done by human being like killing, robbery, snatch thief, adultery, cheating and etc. These are all the wrong actions that will not give us peace and harmony. So if we were commit these actions, where do you think we should be going to?

So to become a ghost after the person die, it simply mean he or she must have done something not right. To retrogress is simple but to progress is difficult. To progress from a Ghost Realm to a Human Realm is indeed very difficult. There are a lot of sufferings in the 3 lower realms.

Some of the things human being does, even animal will not do like discarding their own baby.

Just imagine those who commit this type of action, where do you think in their next life they should go to?

If a person were to discard their own baby and since animal do not discard their baby, so it should be lower than the animal realm, maybe Ghost or Hell Realm. Your guess is as good as mine.

For those who are still able remember this:

Time is infinity.  Any period of time, be it a hundred years or a million years is a speck of a moment.

While we are still able during this very short moment, do more goods, avoid evil and purify the Mind to be a better person and for a better tomorrow.

What is good?                                                                 Good is what you want others to do unto you.

What is evil?                                                                   Evil is what you do not want others to do unto you.

What is a purified Mind?                                                     A purified Mind is free from greed, hatred and ignorance.

So we as human being, after we die where do we go?                                                 Where we go depends on what we have done in this present life.
